SAP Development Architect & Team Lead (S/4HANA & BTP)

As an SAP Development Architect, you will steer design and governance of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP solutions, aligning with SAP Clean Core principles. You’ll define standards, extensibility strategies, and ensure secure, high-performance delivery. You’ll communicate complex architecture to technical and business stakeholders and guide roadmap direction. The role sits in a globally connected, innovation-focused team that helps clients transform SAP landscapes into cloud-enabled ecosystems. This is a hands-on leadership position at the intersection of architecture, development, and strategic delivery.

• Define full stack architecture using ABAP Cloud, Fiori, Build Apps, RAP, and CAP
• Set architectural guidelines for scalable side-by-side and in-app extensions aligned with Clean Core
• Provide design authority over SAP Fiori applications
• Design and oversee OData services and API strategies
• Govern development and deployment on SAP BTP using Business Application Studio and Eclipse ADT
• Provide architectural direction across SAP BTP Build solutions (Build Apps, Build Code, Build Process Automation, Build Work Zone)
• Define extensibility strategy (Key User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility, Side-by-Side Extensibility on BTP)
• Lead custom code migration and modernization initiatives
• Ensure secure, high-performance, compliant solutions following SAP best practices
• Drive innovation initiatives and align solution design with SAP roadmap
• Lead development teams and act as technical authority

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or related field
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA development projects with architectural ownership
• Strong experience in modern SAP development paradigms
• Clear understanding of SAP Clean Core strategy and extensibility approach
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value narratives
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, innovation-driven mindset
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Willingness to travel for cross-border assignments
• EU citizenship required
